Home Remedies for Glowing Skin in summer:

Hydration is the biggest concern our body faced during summer season. We need to take extra precautions while we are out during day time. When it comes to skin care we need to take more precautions and remedies. 

1. Strawberry, Lemon and Yoghurt Face Mask:

Mash strawberries and one tablespoon of yoghurt and half a tablespoon of lemon juice into it. Mix all the ingredients to form a paste and then apply it to whole face. Leave it on for 25-30 minutes. You can enjoy a soft music during this time and can apply cucumber slices on eyes to get more relaxation..Remember to wear sunscreen before step out in the sun after using this mask. All these ingredients together will work better for hydration of skin.

2. Cucumber and Potato Face Mask:

This is one of the simplest remedy for skin care. All we need to do is squeeze out the juice from one cucumber and two potatoes in a bowl. Apply mixture onto face and let it rest for about 10-15 minutes before washing it off. This mask would help to reduce the sun burn marks on face.

3. Almond and Lemon Juice Face Mask:

Make a fine paste of 4-5 almonds and then add a tablespoon of lemon juice to it. Apply this mask on face and set it for another half an hours. Wash face gently and than apply ice cubes over the face for 2 minutes. Lemon helps get rid of summer tan while almonds moisturize our face.

4. Papaya, Honey and Egg Whites Face Mask:

One of the easiest home remedies for glowing skin in summer is using two tablespoons of mashed papaya, one tablespoon of honey and one egg white. Mash them well and apply mask on whole face including neck. Wash it off with warm water after 20 minutes. This is the best hydration for the skin.


When it comes to the skin on our face, it’s crucial to follow a good skincare with today’s lifestyle. But to take care the skin with good home remedies is more important than using chemical products. Always use products which are easily available and require a little effort. More important is the consistency. Apply the face mask at least twice a week. For all working people applying it even night before sleeping can also work out. To get the glowing skin uses these remedies and get a glowing and hydrated skin.
